The winter hiking tour Nr. 28 on the Schmittenhöhe is one of the best trails in our region. It does not matter if you use snow shoes, touring skis or good hiking shoes – the way from the Sonnkogel to the peak of the Schmittenhöhe makes your dreams come true.

First you start the uphill in a very relaxing way with the Sonnenalmbahn and the Sonnkogel chairlift.

Wonderful views where ever you are – especially from the viewing and picture point at the Sonnkogel where you shoot a picture and check it online later at home. Sun chairs are waiting for you and only 100 high meters from the starting point with the 1900m high Sonnkogel to the Schmittenhöhe with 2000 meters make the trip very comfortable for everybody.

Beautiful views to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier and the Großglockner are not the only things to see on this tour – on the Schmittenhöhe open sun decks, good music and cool drinks are waiting! Just enjoy a perfect tour in Zell am See-Kaprun!
